I highly recommend the movie Mongol. It is a sweeping epic about Genghis Khan w/ a touching love story with gorgeous scenery. It is foreign movie, so you have to read subtitles. Don’t complain, it is good for your brain.

La Vie En Rose: This movie is a revelation—a revelation in showing how life can be quite painful, quite beautiful and quite unexplainable. The acting (won Best Actress Academy Award) is so good that you completely believe the story line from little girl to old age and death. The scenery, story, and editing make it so rich that it takes your breath away. If you haven’t seen it, run to the video store. This will touch you in all the right places.
